About River – Trialing her forever home

Introducing River, a delightful rabbit, still getting accustomed to companionship and blossoming beautifully into a social little girl. River has a joyful and spirited personality. While initially a bit shy, she’s quickly learning about the love and trust that comes with human interaction.

This furry friend has an undeniable love for her hideaways – tunnels and cardboard boxes are her preferred havens. Understandably a little flighty at first, she creates safe and snug retreats in these areas. But once she warms to her surroundings, her heart takes flight, culminating in joyful binkies that express sheer anticipation and happiness. Having a large open area to hop around and play is sure to keep her cheerful and content.

River prefers to keep her paws on the ground rather than being picked up initially. However, once she’s nestled safely in your arms, she reveals a deeply affectionate side. With surprising tenderness, she’ll snuggle right into your embrace, sometimes even grooming you with gentle licks. This is her personal way of showing trust and warmth towards her human.

Medical notes

All rabbits in our care are de-sexed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and receive a full health check while rabbits are in their foster homes waiting for their for ever family. All necessary vet work is also carried out for all rabbits in care.

Adoption details

Click the link below to fill out an adoption. Your application will then be reviewed. If your application is successful we will then contact you by phone for a phone interview and to arrange a meet and greet. If all goes well a property check will then be made before the adoption process commences.

What does this mean?

Once an inquiry is submitted, you can directly fill out the adoption application on our website. Upon successful review of your application, we will reach out to you via phone to conduct a phone interview and coordinate a meet and greet. Subsequently, a property check will be arranged before finalising the adoption process, ensuring a seamless transition.
